My DollShe doll arrived today! Needless to say I was super excited. However, when I saw the box my heart sank a bit. It was squashed and had a HOLE in it! I opened it and was disappointed to see the doll box inside had been squashed as well, and the matte coating on the box was peeling off. :( Once opened I was even more disappointed to see that attempted sanding in a few areas discolored the doll. I have read that sanding a tan doll can do this, which is a reason why I didn't order the seams removed (not to mention it was expensive). I suppose I will have to try to match the resin during body blushing to try and fix it. On a side note, my Resinsoul doll was gorgeous on arrival. She came with eyes and had free seam removal (I didn't expect this). She was $150....$500 cheaper (The $150 included a face up and shipping). Thus, for a $600 doll, I would expect just as much. Yes, I love my Saint, but DollShe didn't live up to my expectations. I was spoiled when I received my Resinsoul I guess! For the price of my Saint (even though he IS larger), I expect no discoloration, free seam removal, and the doll to come with a pair of eyes. However, each of those options cost extra...a lot extra. :( I understand that not everyone would agree with me. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and this is my personal opinion. Below are some images of the discoloration and stuff. Feel free to click on them for a larger view. The doll also came with this stuff:
