This time I am opening up a Miracle Doll Baiye (SD) and Miao. Miracle Doll announced a discontinuation, so I panicked and tried to grab up the ones that have been on my wishlist. I REALLY REALLY REAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLY regret not buying Jing (SD) and Jing (MSD) along with these heads. I am crying now because I can’t find them on the BJD selling places. If I do find them, they will probably be three times more expensive than if I bought them from Miracle Doll. *sobs in the corner* Why didn’t I say YOLO and buy them anyway? My wallet was already plotting my murder, so I just should have clicked the buy button! *** I have quite a few box opening videos that have been sitting on my computer for a hot minute (since 2019!). I just haven't felt like editing them for stressy and depressy reasons (I am just super tired/annoyed/having an existential crisis when I get home from work all the time). But, the last two weeks (it’s 2021 now) I have felt a fire being lit under my ass and started doing things again! You will definitely be able to tell a difference between my old videos and my new videos in terms of quality. I have to upload all the old ones first. While they are already out of order, I am trying to upload them in the order they arrived. I have decided to edit out all the unnecessary bits that make the video drag on, which shortened them up. After all, you came here to see dolls and not watch me struggle for 5 minutes trying to open a bubble wrap mess! Anyway, this website had a search feature that allowed a user to search for a doll sculpt by feature (such as fangs, fantasy parts, etc), but this site shut down. The code was handed off to someone, but as far as I know, they never did anything with this data and all the comparison images and other things are in limbo. In any case, I used this data almost on a daily basis, and now it's gone. So, I decided to try and recreate something similar. I don't know how to code, so I can only provide a few different resources and lump them together. This website allowed you to add images from a list and drag them around an area and compare them side-by-side. Unfortunately, I don't have that coding capability, so you will just have to download the images and open them up in an image editing program. I added a few entries as a reference. If there is another resource like this, let me know and I can drop this project. If you would like to collaborate on this, I am more than happy to help. I have a job, so I can't always keep up with this. I am well versed in the ways of the interwebs (:lol:), but I may have gotten permissions wrong. Just please don't destroy the table. Please feel free to download any and all data and add it to whatever database you have/want to create as well. Any comments, suggestions, or anything else is welcome. Box Opening: Doll Leaves Amara Head by Deko.
I have another second-hand doll to open up today. A Doll Leaves Amara head! The head looked perfect for an old game character I am trying to sell, and I found one for a decent price on the marketplace. The resin color doesn’t match the body resin color, but I figure I can blush it to match.
