In the previous installment, I unboxed a tail and discovered that even accessories can betray you. This time, we’re dealing with something far more dangerous: Suspiciously cheap doll bodies.

 There’s a very specific kind of confidence that hits when you score something at 50% off. It whispers things like "you’re financially responsible” and “this was a smart decision."
That’s exactly how I felt when I bought my Ringdoll Alpha body for around $250. What that confidence did not whisper was: "Hey… where’s the tail?" 💀 Because there wasn’t one. No option to add it. No checkbox. No "hey, you might need this" suggestion. Just me, a torso, and a growing sense of something being… spiritually incomplete.  Online marketplaces can be unpredictable places. Sometimes you search for one specific item and leave empty-handed. Other times, you blink, and suddenly several packages are on their way to your house.
This haul came entirely (almost) from Xianyu, a marketplace that can be both a goldmine and a chaotic treasure hunt depending on the day. In this post, I’ll walk through everything I picked up, from blind box figures to anatomy models to a pair of BJD heads that required some serious searching.  Today I’m finally opening the Fantasy Shape Studio Antares head and horns, which are designed to go with the four-armed bust stand I previously unboxed.
Yes. Four arms. Because clearly two arms simply weren’t dramatic enough. I originally ordered the bust stand first, and while I should have ordered the Antares head at the same time, I thankfully managed to catch the preorder before it closed. The set was ordered through Dolce Luce Dolls, which was my first experience purchasing from them.  Today’s victim is the Dream Valley Ilya in Purple, officially titled White Priestess. She’s the female version of Howard the Giraffetaur, which Dream Valley released years ago. Long limbs, elegant proportions, and a general air of "I cost money you probably shouldn’t have spent."
 After what can only be described as an unnecessarily complicated journey, the Immortality of Soul 50 class body finally arrived. While the full timeline and communication issues are documented elsewhere on this blog, this post focuses on the box opening itself, now that everything has been resolved and clarified.
This unboxing was originally meant to be quick. Reality, as usual, had other plans.  This is a long, detailed, and painfully thorough unboxing of the Ringdoll Omega Pearl White Fullset, complete with surprise steel, broken clothing, pearl finish mysteries, magnets with attitude, and the kind of “limited edition” math that raises an eyebrow. Consider this your warning.
 This unboxing is brief, intentional, and missing a body. Today’s subject is the IPOPODoll Phoenix head, a sculpt I wanted years ago but couldn’t justify at the time due to full-doll-only pricing and a $600 commitment I was not emotionally prepared to make.
 Sometimes, a doll shows up in your life that completely surprises you. Enter the Instant Doll body. Purchased from SWDoll in China, this budget-friendly doll is a rarity: tan skin, decent sculpting, and a price point that won’t make your bank account scream.
 Everything is dirty all the time. The world. The boxes. My expectations.
So naturally, it was time to unbox another doll. This time, I opened a Ringdoll Alpha chrome body, purchased directly from the Ringdoll website during their generous and suspicious 50% off sale. A 75cm body for around $250 is either a miracle or a warning sign. I ignored the warning and clicked buy.  There are few things in life more humbling than a mystery-stained shipping box arriving at your doorstep. This one looked like it had survived several warehouses, a minor crusade, and at least one forklift-related incident. Naturally, I wiped it down before opening it, because inside was a white resin doll, and I value my sanity.
My Experience with Immortality of Soul (IOS): A Cautionary Tale of Silence and Security Issues1/18/2026  I am writing this post to share a recent and frustrating experience I had with Immortality of Soul (IOS). While I have always admired their work and have been eyeing their Raul head for ages, my recent order for a Class50 Body has left me feeling very hesitant about ever ordering from them again.
 Today’s victim...feature...is a massive artist doll bust stand by Fantasy Shape (also known as Shapeshifting Doll, depending on which translation app is having a day). This piece has been sitting in my Superbuy warehouse for far longer than it should have, mostly because the shipping estimate alone nearly sent me into the void.
 Welcome back to another installment of things I hope strangers on the internet don’t judge me too harshly for. Today’s victim is UFDoll’s 1/4 male body, Version 2. The more mature, muscular version, not the softer, child‑like V1.
 You know those moments when you're innocently scrolling the digital equivalent of a dusty antique shop and suddenly, BAM! Your sanity is ripped out by a pair of molded, slightly sinister plastic eyes. That's how this started. I don't even remember what cosmic nonsense I was searching for—probably vintage taxidermy or a how-to guide on ritualistic sacrifices—but I stumbled upon a doll head. A GORGEOUS, horrifying, four-eyed doll head.
