I have been wanting the little Aaru Garden blind box figures for awhile and I finally decided to purchase a few (along with a few others). Supposedly, these little guys started out as ball-jointed dolls, but the artist couldn't keep up with the demand/costs so converted them into plastic toys. I do not know if this information is correct or not, so don't quote me on that!
I am a huge fan of series 1, but I am not that impressed with the other series. I also discovered there is a shiny edition (version 1.2 or "+") of these guys which I might purchase. Oddly enough, I have only found these available on websites based in Japan. I doubt I will buy them though as I am very limited on funds and space. Having two of the same figure doesn't seem like a good choice at the moment. I also purchased two boxes form the Sleep Fairy (Elves) series, and two boxes from the Mythical Beasts Administration! I ordered these form KikaGoods.com because I got a great deal on them. So lets see which cuties I managed to obtain! Aaru Garden Kindergarden Series 1
There are hidden figures and super hidden figures with these blind boxes. I have seen product pages that show a chance of getting a real gold plated figure! I think the new shiny versions might come in the blind boxes now too? Anyway, here is a list of the possibilities!
Sleep Fairy Series: Elves
The Dark Angel has to be my favorite out of this series. Anything with a darkness theme wins me over instantly. So which figures did I manage to get?
The little cards that come with these figures are so pretty! They are 3D cards and the artwork is so cute!
Mythological Creatures:
I have also translated the information that appears on the boxes and cards. This is a Google translation, so the translation is not exactly perfect.
I can't wait to collect them all! Why do I always chose such expensive hobbies?!
