Soom Rosette Camellia Head Box Opening!

Wow, so it has been quite a while since I have posted. I have been on doll-hiatus because I have been paying off my student loans. Now that I finally have them paid off, I can rejuvenate my expensive doll fetish again! I rejoice, but my wallet is crying.

I had purchased a Dikadoll Rena head a while back to use with my headless Pure Rosette girl, but ultimately decided that the head was far too large for my liking. I found many smaller heads that might work for me, but all of them will need mods. I was searching for a smiling head (you might have seen my posts everywhere around the interwebs), but the ones I did find were super scarce. Minisup Yan heads seem to be non-existent, Dreaming Doll's Lia head was very expensive (not to mention I don't want to pay that price just to destroy the head), and the goofy 2011 Minifee Juri head I wanted was super ultra rare and astronomically expensive. Ultimately, I decided to find a Rosette head and mod it.

I managed to find someone selling a Camellia head on Den of Angels (Thanks, riventiana!). This head was not my ideal Rosette head, but it was the ONLY one I could find. Plus, she wasn't in the best shape so I won't feel so bad modding her.

If you have seen my other Rosette opening video, you might recall that I was creating a doll for a character in my comic (which I haven't done ANYTHING with). She has droopy elvish ears and is mostly all smiles. That why I really wanted a Juri head. I mean just look at that smile! Though I honestly think the head would have been too big for the Rosette body, just as the Rena head was. Ah well.
