Memories

So I was going through my photobucket account, clearing it all out and I stumbled across some old ebay pictures I had uploaded. If you read in my artist bio thing, you will notice I talk about my first "BJDs". Well, I found pictures! I thought I was share them because I think it is amusing. I can't find the picture of the group shot, but oh well. I sold the lot for like $50 bucks on Buy It Now, and it sold within MINUTES. I guess that means it was super cheap.

 I wish I kinda put them up for a bit more. Each one of them cost me $20+ dollars back in the day and were imported directly from Japan. The guy you see to the right was discontinued, so maybe I could have got more for him too! Ah well.

I spray painted the little girl black because I used her in an art project in collage (oh god, it was horrible. Don't ask!). I spray painted her head too, but spray paint does not like to stick to vinyl and consequently peeled off. I never had heads for the "mom and dad". Though I did occasionally pop of the "brothers" head and put it on "mom" when I was drawing and needed a head reference on a female body.

So there you have it. My first "BJD Family".
