Incoming Doll: Dollshe

Wow, ok, so I splurged and got me a DS28M 35s Saint in the tan color! Dollshe is having a sale, so I couldn't resist. I was torn on which body to get, as they varied greatly in price (DS18M & DS28M). There was a whopping $300 price difference between the less pose-able 18M body and the 28M body, mostly because of the new 18M body introductory (event) price (50% sale). While I love the sculpt better on the 18M body, I am looking for a more pose-able doll because this doll will be doubling as a pose reference guide.

DollShe Skin Tones: Pale, Fresh, Oriental, Pale Tan, Tan*, Ebony

I have such great plans for him. Not to mention he is going to be a model for poses when I am drawing. I say "he" because he doesn't have a name yet.

Anyway, for those who arn't familiar with DollShe, here are a few bits of info:

• Anatomically (kinda) correct...yes, those are man bits you see.
• Over two feet tall (740mm; 29.12 in; 2.43 ft)
• Expensive (DS28M 35s Saint in the tan color was 30% off and still cost me $660.18, including EMS shipping.)

I won't have a permanent opinion on them until I get my doll in. I am not sure how long that will take. The website said the over produced so had some in stock. However, it doesn't appear the website is updated too often.

I will post my character sketches up once I get them done!

So what are some other dolls I plan on buying? Well, here is a rough list:

• Dikadoll Elf Rena Head
• Feeple65 Elf Chloe
• Rosette School for Dolls (I want the Fir head, but the Pure Sakura body...maybe I will be able to find someone who will do a split/head swap with me.)
• Resinsoul Mei Head (I own the Resinsoul Li, but I don't like the head).
• Resinsoul Ai body (Maybe)
• MiniFee Woosoo Atheltic Type

I like the purple skin Resinsoul has, so maybe I will buy a body of the color sometime?
