ARRIVAL: Mutant Rabbit!

My rabbit arrived about a week or so ago, but I was busy printing shirts that I never uploaded the video. You can watch the box opening video below, but I wanted to share my first-time experience with a Taobao agent.

This is not an unbiased review of the TaobaoTrends service, just my personal thought and opinions. Now, let me get started!

Ordering:
The process of ordering is simple enough. You grab the Taobao URL and paste it into the URL box. A page will open where you can select the options you need. You also have a choice to write a comment to the agent, just in case you are unsure of something. Add the item to your cart. Wash, rinse, and repeat. Once you are done send the order through. After that, you will need to wait for the agent to ask the sellers questions and confirm the order.

Payment:
Once you conform the order, you have to pay for the items and the agent fee. TaobaoTrends wants you to either pay with a credit card or "reload" money via PayPal. Giving them my credit card information was out of the question. My bank would have blocked the transaction to China anyway. That left me with the reloading option. This made me uneasy as well. Why can't I pay with PayPal directly? Do they do this so if something is wrong they make it difficult or impossible to get your money back? I am currently waiting on a reply from PayPal on this.

Order Verification:
Once the order arrives to their "warehouse" they will send verification photos to you free of charge. I know that some services will charge you for this service. Here are the photos I received:

I am hoping the "Tata's Paradise", which is another BJD shop on Taobao, and the other pink thing in some of the photos were someone else's order because I did NOT get those items. I go over my paranoia about this in my box opening video.

Also, the table covering is a little....gross?

Shipping:
Once you have verified your order, you can then choose a shipping option. I chose a DHL one, because it was one of the cheapest. They don't really explain the individual shipping options. If you don't have enough money in your account, you will need to reload again at this point.

My package left China and then went to....GERMANY? It went from China, to Germany, to the US....then to CANADA and finally arrived here in the US...again?

I hit the order button on the 28th of September. My order was confirmed, verified, shipped, and was finally forcefully crammed into my mail box on the 11th of October. Overall, the process was rather painless. I have already order through them again!

P.S. I AM STILL WAITING ON MY GOD DAMNED GYOHA HEAD FROM DOLKUS. Switch has confirmed that all the Gyoha heads have been produced and shipped...so...WTH DOLKUS. I will not be going through dolkus ever again. I will stand firm in my belief to order directly from companies....except when you need something from Taobao.
