The Return of Anson and Moment

Long, long ago, Dollzone released a pair of flower twins (male and female) called Anson and Moment. I had just gotten into the hobby at that time, so when I realized they existed they were no longer on sale! ​

​Not too long after that, I found someone selling them on DoA. Unfortunately, they wanted me to buy them as a pair for $1300. I did not have that kind of money at the time, as I was a college student earning small internship monies. 

I did find someone selling a separate one at a later date, Anson, so I bought her for $500. I have since been looking for her male counterpart all this time, but have NEVER seen them pop up for sale again...anywhere.

Then fast forwards to 2023, I noticed Dollzone had re-released the little gift flower guy. I was like, "Huh....isn't that the creature they had around the time they released the flower twins? It would be nice if they re-released them again...."

A few days later I was browsing the ol' interwebs and noticed an ad for the flower twins' re-release! I was shocked at first, then in disbelief. After all, this doll was released a decade ago. Usually, dolls sculpt that old never see a second coming. I got a chuckle at the English names that were released, as Dollzone dubbed "Anson" as "Ansom". They have since corrected this issue, I believe.

I had already purchased way too many dolls this year (as usual), but I was like "YOLO!" and bought the pair! I was worried because I saw this re-release very late and noticed they were only going to release 30 dolls of each! I checked Dollzone's Taobao page and notice they had already sold 17 or each doll and I panicked. I promised myself I wouldn't buy any more doll this year after that purchase.

...and then I bought Resinsoul Shan and a Yi body. *cough*

Anyway, NOW I promise not to buy any more dolls this year! I am trying to save up for a tiny house. Well, a large tiny house.

I am curious to see if they fixed the thin resin issues from the old dolls. I have heard horror stories of broken parts. The doll I have looks like one of the petals has been sanded too much and the resin is dangerously thin in one spot. I'm talking PAPER thin.
