Incoming Doll: Soom Rosettes

I am excited to say I have two more dolls on the way! I have been wanting a Rosette doll for a long time. They finally had a free choice event, so I had to take the opportunity to buy one! Actually, I bought TWO girls! That's right, two. I bought a muse girl and a pure girl. But get this...my muse girl is Vela in BROWN TAN. If I am unhappy with the tan color, I would probably end up selling her. However, I am thinking she will be gorgeous.

There aren't any photos of a brown tan Rosette yet, as this is the first time they have offered them. Someone Photoshopped a few on DoA to sort of get an idea of what they will look like, but no one knows yet. This makes things a little more exciting.

I will be sure to post up my box opening video followed by a review of both girl shortly after. Don't worry, I will post pictures too. I don't have a new camera yet, but I did make myself a photo box to help my old camera take better pictures.


On another note, I received some free samples of fake fur in the mail and tried my hand at making a wig. The result wasn't so pretty. The fur I used was very low quality to begin with, as you can still see the "netting" in big gaps that the fur was latched onto. I did not make the wig deep enough, so it wont fit on my dolls head properly.  I might be able to sew some elastic onto the inside and put it on a smaller doll, but the fur is so sparse it would only look bad.
