Doll Comparison FLICKR Group

Have any of you ever heard of the Comparison Heaven? If not, then you need to check it out immediately! Comparison Heaven is a website that allows you to add dolls to a height chart to compare their sizes! While MANY dolls have been added, the site is no longer being updated. Many people have tried contacting the sites owner through various means, but no one is getting a response. The last update was sometime in 2015 and the year is now 2017. This is quite unfortunate, as this was a brilliant, not to mention extremely useful, idea.

I wish to keep this idea going! I can't make a website like that or anything, but I can create a Flickr group! I called the group Dolls to Scale, but I suck at naming things. Anyone can add dolls to this group, so long as they fit within the guidelines. These guidelines are the same as they are on the original website. The more people we have contributing the better, so please help out! Here is how you can help:

1. Grab you doll and strip it naked and take it wig off. We need the doll to be completely bare so we can see it fully.
2. Make or print a size chart. Directions on how to do this can be found here, or you can download a continuous chart here or a separated US paper size chart here. DO NOT RESIZE THE CHART WHEN PRINTING. Printing the chart at 100% is important so that the measurements are correct.
3. Set up your camera. This also requires specific instructions! Again, please view the instructions here.
4. Place your doll in front of the scale and photograph the front, back, side, 3/4 view, and sitting poses.
5. Edit if needed and upload to the Doll to Scale!

Please note the we only need one set of images per doll, so if we already have images of a Soom Human Sard, for example, we do not need another set. However, we might need a set of the fantasy Soom Sard! Even if a doll is on the Comparison Heaven, you are still free to add it to the Flickr group just in case that lovely site vanishes altogether...which would be horrible. I use it all the time.
