Welcome to the blog, a chaotic archive of doll ramblings, art struggles, collecting disasters, customization experiments, and whatever financial mistakes I've convinced myself are "self-care." I ramble about BJDs, review them, attempt to customize them, and occasionally have an emotional meltdown. Think of this blog as a chaotic diary made by someone who keeps buying dolls despite having no space, no restraint, and no intention of stopping. Everyone has been thrown in the winter chaos. People have no power or water. Stores are closed. It's colder where I live than it is in ALASKA. Enough of that though, let's get to the UPDATES.
I have had a hoard of box opening videos sitting on my hard drive for the better part of a year. I have finally gotten around to editing them all and posting them on YouTube. I will be uploading one video a week until I am caught up! So if you are interesting in those, please be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel!

Doll have begun to arrive now! I figured some of them would be arriving at the same time and I was right! I have finally received my Dollzone Brown Snow Fulai and my Rumpel Doll Morfeo head! I am still waiting on the following dolls to arrive:
Dear doll companies, PLEASE STOP DISCONTINUING ALL THESE DOLLS AT ONCE. I AM FUCKING BROKE! Sincerely, Me Wow, it's been a few months since I have given any sort of update. I have purchased more dolls since then and decided that I should update my incoming list. I don't think I have received any dolls since my last update. ((´д｀))
I guess ordering from a dealer takes the dolls longer to get to you than ordering direct from the company. I ordered a Brown Fulai the second BJDivas posted them, but haven't gotten any update. However, I have already seen a newly received brown Fulai for sale on facebook! TCH! Let me tell you right now that my bank account attempted to murder me in my sleep. For revenge, I purchased more dolls....
Guess who arrived?! Dollpamm Darkness Tirka!
She arrived on the 22nd of December, but I was out of town and wasn't able to sign for the delivery. I didn't even get a notification that the doll had shipped. I just happened to check it about a week before as i figured the doll was about ready to be shipped and TADA! So, the Doll Leaves boy body I purchased arrived some time ago. But FOR SOME REASON, my camera only recorded the first five second of the box opening. I checked the memory card and it still had LOTS of space, so that was not the issue. The battery was fine as well. The only thing I can think of is that I switched my camera to RAW mode. Would that affect the video somehow? I dunno....
Whoa, talk about lightning fast shipping!
I purchased an old Soom (Topaz) body from the DoA marketplace after someone answered my ad. The seller shipped the body the second my payment was confirmed! Before I could blink the doll had arrived. This body is for my Soom Amber head and Coquina hooves. I am glad I can finally get rid of the highly undesirable Mirodoll body. Why did I ever think using the bodies for a hybrid was a good idea?
My dolls came in! YAY!
I opened my Withdoll girl while my computer was re-installing windows, so I didn't upload the video until about a week later? Anyway, I uploaded my Dollstown and Withdoll video at the same time. On another note, I thought I had sold my Soom body. The individual completed their layaway, but when I went to check where to ship it too I noticed that there was a different address on each payment. The address they confirmed with through conversation did not match the address provided on the invoice. The zip-codes provided through PayPal apparently wrong and the other address was to a relatives house and was used accidentally. |
