Withdoll Haul: 2 Dolls, 2 Heads, and 1 UPS Driver Who Tried to Kill Them by Deko.
Another box opening because I clearly never learn. Withdoll had a 40% off sale, so I bought two dolls and two heads—Mai/Nei, Elf Emma, and Scowl Elf Ian. Of course, I had to cry over $150 shipping, panic about UPS brokerage fees, and nearly lost the entire package when my new UPS driver left it leaning against my rural mailbox in the rain. Because why not? First impressions: ➡️ Withdoll’s darker resin tones are gone forever (and yes, I’m salty about it). ➡️ The male body has no thigh joints, but magnetic hands that fall off if you so much as breathe on them. ➡️ The female body’s hands don’t detach at all. Make it make sense. ➡️ I planned hybrids with Rosette bodies, but now I’m unsure if the heads are too big. Overall? Glad they arrived. Sad about the skin tones. UFDoll MSD 1/4 Lady Body – Cheap But Perfect?? by Deko.
Another day, another box opening. I’m not even surprised at myself anymore—are you? This time, I managed to snag a UFdoll 1/4 girl body (the Nannan body) for only $50 total (yes, including shipping). That’s wild considering I’ve seen them go for $150+ on eBay and Mercari. For once, procrastination actually saved me money. First impressions: She’s heavy—like, unexpectedly dense. Feels closer to resin than the lighter UFdolls I’ve handled before. She stands like a dream and poses surprisingly well. Honestly, I think this body is a big improvement over UFdoll’s other 1/4 girl body. I tested some hybrid options with different heads -(those will be posted on my Flickr if you want to see more).- I am running out of space on flickr. Withdoll Egon Unboxing – Impulse Buying a Doll I Almost Wanted by Deko.
I saw a Withdoll Egon in Real Skin on Mercari and blacked out. When I woke up, my wallet was empty and the tracking number was in my inbox. Sure, it’s not the elf version I truly wanted, but my standards are flexible when a good price is involved. Not five minutes later, Withdoll dropped a mega sale like they knew I had already made a questionable financial decision. So naturally, I did what any responsible adult with goblin brain chemistry would do—I bought more dolls. This Egon came on one of Withdoll's newer female bodies, and I gotta say… the resin feels like it’s been lightly sanded with regret. It’s rough, chaulky, dry—like it absorbed the trauma of shipping. Also, I’m not vibing with the torso joint situation. Give me that underboob crunch over the ribcage creak any day.
