I ramble about BJDs, review them, attempt to customize them, and occasionally have an emotional meltdown.  I got a package! And not just any package! This time it was the long-awaited Dream Valley Jialan, the Aeon Butterfly sculpt, in their brand new blue-gray resin. I bought him specifically to be the male counterpart to my ghost moth girl. Because apparently, the only thing I know how to do in life is buy dolls instead of groceries. Who needs stable finances when you can sniff resin fumes and call it a lifestyle?

 I was minding my own business on Den of Angels when I saw a doll body that immediately whispered, "I belong to your floating island head." Naturally, I did the responsible thing and threw money at it. Welcome back to another episode of Shut Up and Take My Money, where my wallet suffers so my dolls may thrive.
This time, I picked up a pre-loved Doll Family-A MSD body in Chocolate resin. Buying second-hand BJDs is one of my favorite things because a) they’re usually cheaper and b) they arrive much faster. In this case, the doll shipped from one state over and showed up within days. Instant gratification, achieved. |
